Working Student

Finance by day, football and cooking whenever there’s time: Simon joined AITASTIC in February 2026 as a Working Student in Mainz, supporting the Finance team with accounting, invoicing, and financial reporting. He also helps improve and automate finance processes, making everyday workflows a little smarter and more efficient.

Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance after completing his Bachelor’s in Economics, Simon already brings several years of practical experience from the industrial and insurance sectors. His previous roles took him from production planning and monitoring to business development in Sales & Marketing.

Outside of work and university, football is Simon’s biggest passion — whether he’s playing himself, watching from the couch, or cheering from the stands. Swimming, running, and cycling keep him moving too. And when he does slow down, you’ll most likely find him in the kitchen, putting his skills as an enthusiastic home cook to the test.
