Sonja is working as a News Editor at AITASTIC since October 2025 and brings a unique blend of editorial expertise, intercultural perspective, and creative curiosity to the team. Her professional background includes more than six years in news monitoring, media analysis, content management, and newsletter creation. 

Before stepping into the world of media intelligence, Sonja trained as a professional photographer and later earned degrees in Communication Science, German Studies, and Intercultural Encounters. Today, she helps clients navigate the news landscape by delivering relevant updates and well-structured information. 

Originally from Germany, Sonja now lives in Finland, where she balances her professional passion for media with her love of photography, travel, and Japanese culture. She also runs her own travel blog and enjoys spending time with her cat, Minka, who may or may not be the true editor-in-chief at home.
